Your on-device wardrobe

Clothing photos, outfit plans, saved outfits, wear logs and wishlist are stored on your device. Clothing background removal, garment-area color suggestions and outfit matching run on-device. Saved Color Stories are included in local storage and photo-inclusive backups. We do not automatically upload your wardrobe. You can opt into automatic backups to a folder you select in Files or iCloud Drive. Backups run while DRST is open; they are not continuous cross-device syncing. Your device backup settings and exported backups can create additional copies.

Optional weather

Weather is optional and uses a city you select. City search text is sent to Apple Maps; the selected city’s approximate coordinates are sent to Apple Weather. DRST does not request GPS access or track movement. Clothing photos, garment details and DRST account information are not sent with weather requests. Weather selection and preferences stay on this device for the current wardrobe, outside wardrobe backups; forecasts are cached in memory, never saved to a file, and used for up to 30 minutes before a refresh is needed. You can turn off weather and forget the city in Weather settings. Account deletion clears that account’s saved weather preferences on the device.

Optional account

Account creation sends your email, name and authentication information to Supabase, our account and database service. When enabled, Sign in with Apple provides the account information you choose to share. We do not receive your Apple password.

Production account confirmation and password-reset emails are sent through Resend, which processes your email address, message content and delivery information. These messages can contain temporary account links. We do not enable email-open or link-click tracking. Clothing photos and wardrobe contents are not included in account emails.

Signing in does not provide cloud wardrobe synchronization. Guest and signed-in wardrobes remain separate on this device. Copying the guest wardrobe into an account is an explicit choice.

Deferred features and existing data

Community, shopping/affiliate links and personal AI previews are unavailable in the first public release. Their existing stored data is not erased by this navigation change. If you used an earlier pilot, account deletion removes associated server photos and Community data; contact support for questions about earlier data.

Service operation

The account API and supporting website run on Cloudflare. Supabase operates authentication and account storage. Service providers may process network addresses, request metadata and security logs to operate their services. Application logs are designed to exclude passwords, authentication tokens, personal photos and signed image URLs. This version includes no advertising trackers and does not collect custom activity analytics. Anonymous aggregate measurement has been implemented but remains disabled. This policy must be updated and the complete logging pipeline verified before collection starts.

Retention and deletion

Local wardrobe information stays until you erase it or remove the app, subject to backups you control. For data uploaded in an earlier pilot, saved personal photos stay until you delete them or your account. Generated preview results are configured to expire after 30 days and be removed by scheduled cleanup. Personal previews are unavailable in v1. Temporary upload recovery records are retained briefly to safely finish or remove interrupted uploads. Account-email records are retained by Resend under its published retention practices; our current plan lists 30 days. Messages delivered to your inbox remain under your email provider’s and your own controls. Security and infrastructure backups follow the providers' retention practices.

Use Your space to export your wardrobe, erase local data or delete your account. Account deletion also removes the signed-in local wardrobe on that device. Copies exported to Files, iCloud Drive or another destination must be deleted there. Email us for privacy requests or if an in-app deletion fails.

Changes

We will update this page when data handling changes. Additional purposes for personal-photo processing require an updated consent flow.
